They provide everything they say at the expected quality (or higher). I did not say anything about their WiFi because I did not need to use their WiFi. Otherwise, late check in at 2AM was not a problem, they provided clear instructions: key code to enter reception at Freyjugata 24 to pickup the key of the building and room where I had to go and a plan of their buildings at Freyjugata and Njardgata streets. Towels were provided at the reception when they opened, at 7:30AM. Everything was clean. Breakfasts were good, abundant good quality food. Hot water radiators really hot, so the small high window that staid open for ventilation in the showers room was not a problem. Microwave, fridge and electric tea kettle in the room were functional. Plates and silverware were also provided in the room. One toilet per floor (3 rooms) but it was not a problem for me, I only staid 1 week and I was still "operating" according to the time zone I come from.

The room was warm and clean, beds comfortable. We had kettle, microwave and fridge as well as crockery and cutlery, washing up liquid was supplied. Breakfast was in the main Aurora guesthouse was plentiful and had fresh warm bread cereals coffee juices and more. Shared shower room was always clean and tidy. Truly awesome shower. Shower gel was supplied in a dispenser in the shower and was very nice, I have sensitive skin and used no issues. Very central and 5 mins walk from Hallgrímskirkja and main shopping area. A Brauð & Co bakery shop just off the square by Hallgrímskirkja do not listen to Google maps. Also a hot dog stall at the beginning of the same road. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Personally I recommend this guest house highly as a good value for money central place to stay.

This is a nice guesthouse. Check-in is at the nearby Guesthouse Aurora run by the same management. I had been in an economy room before, that was really small. This time I stayed in a twin room, which was just perfect. The room had shared facilities but there was never competition for them. In the room there was a "kitchenette" consisting of a small fridge, a microwave, a kettle, some dishes and a kitchen sink. A good desk for working. I very much like the breakfast (served at Guesthouse Aurora), probably one of the best you can have at accommodations in Reykjavik. There are always several types of freshly baked bread, a nice variety of jams, cheese/ham, tomato/cucumber, boiled eggs, cereals, milk. Coffee, juice of course.

The location is great. Near the city centre but placed in a quiet street. Close to the main bus station. Several restaurants, shops and markets around the corner. Twin room is a bit tight if travelling with bulky luggage and it is well equipped for small bites (microwave, kettle, coffee machine, fridge, some cutlery and plates, and a sink) Nice breakfast is included in the room rate. It is simple but has a bit of everything. Overall, it is a good place to spent a few days in the capital. Recommended if not looking for a fancy stay.

I had a 22 hr layover so I booked last minute at 9pm. I then went on a northern lights tour got back to bus terminal at 1am. Called the admin office and the admin stayed on the phone until I reached the guesthouse and advised me how to get inside and made sure I was inside the guesthouse before hanging up. Only a short walk from the bus terminal and I felt very safe during my stay. The bathroom was clean water was hot and breakfast was traditional and had many options. I will definitely use Guesthouse for future travels.
